Slacker

What can I say? After working on the magazine so much and typing stories every month I get sick of typing I suppose. Here is a quick catch up though. I spent the weekend shooting with some Eastern team riders last weekend and went to the school where the movie Superbad was filmed. Recently rode some trails in Thousand Oaks that are so good. Went to see a band that Andrew Reynolds plays guitar in at this place in Hollywood. Went on a fixed ride tonight and shutdown the intersection of Hollywood Blvd and Highland which is one of the busiest in all of Hollywood. People "cork" the intersection and start riding in circles and just hold off all of the cars. Mind you there are about 100 bikers in and around this intersection. It always makes for some entertainment at least. Not much is new, winter is fairly slow with travel and all that. Just taking things one step at a time and trying to figure this whole California deal. I will try not to be so lame and post more often. Or I really have to drop the "on the daily" title because clearly I am not keeping up on that!

Florida

Took a trip to Florida to visit my girls and have a chill weekend. Did a bit of bowling, played some pool, hung out in the East Coast sun for a change and spent some quality time with the girl I miss way too much. Photos pretty much tell the story. Enjoy.

Finally done with the April issue. It was a lot of work but finally got it finished today with the cover being selected and all of that good stuff. Keep posted and I will have that up in a few weeks.

Just finished shooting an interview with Hoang Tran down in San Diego this weekend and it was a good time. Rode, shot photos and just enjoyed the beautiful weather. Doesn't get much better than that!

Florida tomorrow. Gotta love gettin on another airplane.

ROLLIN

Took a chill ride to the beach today with a good friend from new york. Got some amazing NY style pizza. It is one of the best places I have been to in LA (the west coat for that matter). I don't know why it is so hard to find a good slice of pizza but it is. Cruised the town and stretched out the legs a bit.

Cleaning

I have spent what feels like days cleaning my aptmt and although it is nice to have a clean place it is getting kind of old and I just want it to be done. Spent today up in the Valencia area riding and shooting a bike test. It was a pretty fun day. Found some old trails in this oil field type place and cleaned them up and rode them then went to a sweet wallride spot. That's about it. More exciting events from the weekend as they happen. (note the sarcasm)

New Years

Well, there is something to be said about spending New Years Eve in Hollywood. It is not as exciting as one may think. But, riding my bike to the Metro station, taking the train to Hollywood and cruising around is a different story. I will be doing a review of 2008 and some highlights when I get the chance.
