Where does the time go?

Well, sorry it has been a while since I have updated to anyone who checks this thing to see what I am up to. A lot has been going on, I have just been out of blog mode. I suppose a quick list of the things I have been doing will work. Recently I have shot with Jason Enns, Biz and Dillewaard in Riverside, have been riding a bunch, went to a dirt contest in Lake Perris, got tattooed for the T.V. show LA Ink (I will keep everyone posted on when it will be on, hiked to a really sweet (for LA) waterfall, my brother had a baby so I am an official uncle, sat in traffic for countless hours, went to a rad ramp jam bbq at my friends house, saw an old 80's road bike movie at an art show and have been busy at the magazine as always. Hopefully going to new york soon and Pennsylvania soon as well but two separate trips. It is going to be a busy next couple of months for sure. Nyquists contest is this weekend in San Jose, should be a good one. More on that as it happens.

Catching Up

Wow, it has been a busy few weeks. Between Vegas for an interview with Josh Betley, to shooting the extreme thing contest finals to Oklahoma for an interview with Miles Rogoish, to shooting the Jomopro contest in Missouri. Finally back in Cali and couldn't be happier to get back to warm weather. One day in Oklahoma it was about 38 degrees. Finishing the July issue as we speak and already have August started.

Following

I didn't really realize that I had people following my blog. I don't even really know exactly what that means but whatever. That motivated me enough to get writing. The thing is, between riding, writing, shooting, flying, driving and traveling all around in general things get pretty hectic. So by the time I am sitting down to chill, the last thing I want to do is edit more photos to fit the damn blog and type more shit on a computer. But, I do feel like I have lost touch with a lot of people and this is my way of giving everyone a peek into what I am up to. First I was in Texas recently and finally got to ride 9th street trails. It was definitely amazing and I definitely had my bike put together and was riding by 8am; the earliest I have ridden in a super long time. It was awesome. On the way from Dallas to Austin I stopped off at this random Antique store and picked up an old flask just because I love collecting random antique things. Before Texas I was at the Rockstar Jam and that was fun. Spent the day at Luke Parslow's trails then hit up the jam the next day. The view of the water is where I stayed with on of my friends. Thats about it for now. Vegas this weekend and busy putting the July issue together during the week. Then Missouri. Definitely busy. I went to shoot with a few dudes last week or something and ended up at this Mexican restaurant that had all kinds of crazy sculptures. One was of them was this really creepy naked barbie doll statue. Don't ask because I really don't know. Until next time!

Everything is bigger...

In Texas. I fly to Austin tomorrow. Well, fly to Dallas then drive to Austin but whatever. Weird to think that exactly one year ago to the day I was in Austin. It's a great place to be and I wish I had more than a day and a half to spend there. Either way should be a good trip. The photo is an old sequence of me from some trails in Endwell, NY. Man, those were fun. Hopefully I will get to ride 9th st. in between shooting photos.

Randumb

Well, things have been pretty hectic with the wrapping up of the June Issue. Just the cover left to figure out then its all done. Shooting this weekend and seeing what happens. I have this weekend and next to chill around home then I will be gone the next three on trips. The photo is from Juarez, Mexico which is a sketchy ass place. Seriously. This guy was just kickin it on the stairs.

Busy Lately...

Things have been pretty hectic lately, just trying to shoot for the issue coming up. Went down to Riverside the other day to shoot some stuff with Mike Saavedra which was rad. Got to check out the Battle bowl for the first time and caught a rad sunset. Mike built some wild new cliffhanger berm at his trails that is going to be nuts. Went to Long Beach today to meet up with Tony Neyer and Dave Jacobs and had a fun sesh. Other than that just starting to put together the June issue which sounds nuts. Travel wise, Vegas at the end of the month along with Desoto/Austin Texas and then Missouri in the beginning of April. Should be good.
